The Yellowstone Journey

What you’ll experience on the Yellowstone Journey

Front End / Pre-Trip Coaching

You begin with two sessions to get clear on what you are longing for with your coach. Together we’ll design your unique coaching program that lets you see yourself clearly and imagine a new way of being that supports your deepest alignment.

On the Expedition

We will put on our backpacks and walk into remote backcountry for 7 days. We’ll start our mornings with guided movement and mindfulness practice. Each day we will offer prompts and frameworks to help you get clear about your purpose. We’ll have a mix of nourishing group experience and delicious solo time. You’ll have individual conversations with your coach. You’ll watch yourself in action as you live in a group, make decisions, and do hard things. You’ll get clarity on your patterns of resistance, your unique gifts, and what you are meant for in this world.

We designed this route to visit wild backcountry hotsprings, part of what makes this landscape sacred to so many Indigenous nations. We’ll have time to swim and soak, sit still and reflect. We’ll also hike long days, cross rivers, get stormed on, and find our edges. We’ll hike by stunning alpine vistas. We’ll have the potential to meet wild bison and elk along the trail.

Sleeping outside and carrying what you need on your backs offers a simplicity that helps you get clear on what matters most. You get into your body, you begin to trust yourself. Your shed the layers that stop you from listening to what you already know. You are witnessed and supported by a group of people who may well become your new soulmates.

Post-Expedition Coaching

After the dust has settled and laundry is done you’ll get on a call with your coach to integrate and anchor what has come alive in you. You’ll map out a path forward that allows you to live into your new way of being.

Post-Expedition Group Call

We’ll come together for closure, integration and to leverage each other for supportive accountability moving forward. We’ll pay tribute to our group’s powerful alchemy for change and create pathways for ongoing connection.

Online Community

We’ll stay connected in a private online group where we cheer each other on and give and get support.

Program Cost:

$3100 early registration till May 1. $3500 after May 1

This includes individual coaching and the full expedition experience. Once you arrive in Jackson WY, travel and accommodation are covered. Meals are covered except for lunch and dinner on the last day.  We provide all group camping gear and some individual gear. We’ll give you a detailed equipment list and help you decide what to pack. Specific dietary needs can be easily met.

Nuts and Bolts of the Expedition:

We meet in Jackson Wyoming on the afternoon of September 13.  We will begin to form together as a group, organize and pack our gear. The next morning we drive to the trailhead and have a short hike to our first camp. You can expect to hike between 3 - 8 miles each day on well-maintained trail.  Camp will be simple outdoor living with no facilities. We’ll carry packs that weigh 35-45 lbs. Each of us contributes to cooking, outdoor living tasks and a supportive group culture. On September 20 we will hike out to the historic Old Faithful Inn, take a shower and head back to Jackson. We’ll debrief, have a celebratory dinner and you head home the next day.

You do not need to have prior experience backpacking or camping. We will provide all the support to let you thrive even if you have never slept outside or hiked on a trail. You need to be comfortable walking long distances and with physical exertion. You need to be open to experiencing your body in new and challenging ways. Often, people are surprised by how capable they are physically and humbled by mental challenges they didn’t expect. You do NOT need to be a super athlete to thrive on this expedition.
